video games

Everybody plays video games if they use to or still do you can ask any one and every one they all had to play video games at one point of their lives.


Adults would say that they like the nintendo 64 with Super Mario and all of those old games with terrible graphics. And very cheesy jokes from here to there like seriously if you tell anyone those jokes today they would say let me go back twenty years ago when that joke was funny. Like my sister's orthodontist has one of those things and I laugh of how bad it is like there is this one basketball game and i cant tell if the hoop is a cheeseball missing the center or an actual rim. Se  like that kind of jokes are told in those games no one reading this probably found that funny.








Now and days people or should I say kids play Xbox or playstation. We have way better games than back then th graphics look way better and cooler like call of duty that series was around for years now and the oldest call of duty is even better than the nintendo 64 game graphics. Don't get me wrong alot of games that come out today are horrible ,but not all. Today another big thing in video games are graphics like the graphics for Black ops three on the xbox 360 or the play station 3 are just amazing.....amazingly horrible like the guns look like sticks.

Then we have the Nintendos Ds's  yes the little game system that some kids still play today. Those are not that bad they have Mario the good one which is really fun with all of the worlds getting harder each time you go up. They also have Mario cart which is really fun because you can play with other people.The only thing about them is that the games are really easy to loose till this day i still can't find my super Mario games. The games are basicly a small square that you slide into the back of the Ds.

Basket ball

Today I will be talking to you guys about basketball, basketball is a great sport all you need to have to play and enjoy this sport is a basket ball hoop,and a basket ball. any body can play the sport all you need to do is try your best.



The great sport was thought of in 1891 by a guy named  D.R James Naismith in spring field. everybody should now the NBA (national basketball association) the greatest players ever playes there such as Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, and Allen Iverson. Today they have players that are about to  be legends so legends in the making, such as Stephen Curry,Klay Thompson, and Kyrie Irving.




The Nba has a championship match every year last year the Golden State Warriors won against the Cleveland cavaliers. Lebron James didn't take the loss to well though.











Actually last year was Lebron James's second year in a row that he made it to the championship so he is a very good player. Right now though Stephen curry is taking the stage with all of the three pointers sometimes he knows it is even going in. 

In my eyes Carmelo is the best player in the Nba,He can do most of the stuff Stephen curry is doing right now it is just everybody is foucusing  on the young steph and his great team. 

. The best ball handler in the league is Kyrie he is amazing he has the best handles i have ever see he can do between the legs behind the back and more. He does not miss any layups that he shoots and he can even shoot the ball really good. 

Anybody can play the sport big or small for example this one player named Nate Robinson was 5,9 and he was a all time great in the Nba. He was as good or even better than the guys who played every body towered over him because he was so small but he was actually better than half of them.

spring break

Spring break is the best might even be better than summer because it's in between the school year and you can take a break from school, but when it's summer you get to be off so many days and then come back.

Spring break is a time to enjoy your life and get away from school because when school back its going to hit you harder than the ball hit this guy. Because school fells like forever even though it's only eight hours a day or after I’m looking back its forever.

During spring break there is no one outside which is bad and the only thing I don't like because sometimes I want to play basketball or play something with people but I knock on everybody’s door and they all have the same excuse "oh hey im sick man sorry."

I mean come on don't even answer the door if you are going to say a bad excuse like that, so that leaves me board in my room watching TV all day because no one wants to play it is not fun playing any sports by yourself. You are just there with no one to play with you like a one on one or ride their bike with you to have a race,or just go to the neighborhood park.

For my spring break i didn't do anything because every kid in my neighbor hood gave me that same excuse i was just out there playing basketball all by my self all alone. i mean i did go to a couple of places sometimes like i went to jumping world which was amazing and fun. 

So don't waste your spring break go somewhere fun and have fun be outdoors and play with the other kids that are out there, well i'm pretty sure no kid is going to be out side but give it a try and have fun.

My name is Michael Gonzalez I ‘am twelve years old and in the sixth grade I attend school at Frank Black Middle School (FBMS). I love playing sports my favorite sport is basketball, I have been playing for five years now and I enjoy playing the sport. I also really enjoy playing video games my favorite game is black ops three. I enjoy reading too I mostly enjoy fiction books, such as diary of a wimpy kid, and goose bumps Goose bumps is my personal favorite. I also enjoy riding my bike a lot and being outdoors most of the time.
